These Processes were focused on the uses and applications of that we call the new Geographical Panoptic.<\/p>\n<p>This Panoptic was produced by the new technologies promoted during the spatial race. It consists on a global and abstract vision of the world that has reduced every corner of the terrestrial globe to a localizable magnitude, expressible as a coordinate.<br \/>\nThis gives place to a fully know world affordable for anybody with a GPS. This world reduced to data has produced a hybrid space were the virtual space of data has become a continuum of the physical word were daily life takes place.<\/p>\n<p>The art of Locative Media is a new way of interactive art that has been developed on the intersection of the data and the physical space. It places the interaction out of the flat screen for developing it in the entire urban space. It uses all the devices of surveillance and control of this Panoptic in a critical and poetical way. Procesos dirigidos a investigar los usos y aplicaciones de lo que aqu\u00ed denominaremos el nuevo Pan\u00f3ptico Geogr\u00e1fico.<br \/>\nEste Pan\u00f3ptico, generado a partir de las nuevas tecnolog\u00edas promovidas por la Carrera Espacial,\u00a0consiste en una visi\u00f3n global y abstracta del mundo que ha reducido hasta el \u00faltimo rinc\u00f3n del planeta a una magnitud mensurable, localizable y expresable en coordenadas. Lo que ha dado lugar a un mundo enteramente conocido y a la mano de cualquiera que disponga de un dispositivo GPS. Este mundo reducido a datos y puesto a la mano ha producido un espacio hibrido en que el espacio virtual compuesto por estos datos se ha extendido como una continuaci\u00f3n del mundo f\u00edsico en que se desarrolla la vida cotidiana.<\/p>\n<p>El arte de los Medios Locativos es una nueva forma de arte interactivo que se sit\u00faa en la intersecci\u00f3n entre estos dos espacios. Haciendo salir la interacci\u00f3n de la superficie plana de la pantalla para proponerla y desarrollarla en todo el espacio urbano. Plante\u00e1ndose la posibilidad de un uso cr\u00edtico y poetizante de los dispositivos de vigilancia y control que acarrea todo este aparatage pan\u00f3ptico.
